In the Garden: Planting Flowers

Last year was our first year gardening. As it turns out, it's not that complicated. Plant stuff, then water it when it gets hot and dry, then harvest it when it looks big enough. I was shocked! I thought there was some kind of secret that made it too difficult or time consuming.
This is year two, and I decided to document our progress. I've never grown flowers before, so I decided to make that an addition this year. If things turn out as planned, we can have some pretty bouquets and not have to buy them at the Farmers Market every week. I'm starting the seeds (Zinnias, Marigolds) inside so that we can enjoy them earlier in the summer. Maybe I'm crazy. Probably. Here's a preview!
