Colorful Pasta Bead Necklaces
I have to start off by saying that I was worried about how these would turn out. I thought maybe all the colors mixing- as they undoubtedly do when my children paint- would turn out brown-muddy-ugly-looking. If I had done this myself, well, these necklaces would have been in the primary colors arranged in the proper ROYGBIV rainbow order. Ah, OCD. Thankfully I retreated my need for control and let them have a good time painting the beads themselves. So the verdict is that my two and three year old make way cooler stuff than I am capable of. The Ditalini pasta 'beads' took on a really neat marbled clay effect! I thought they were awesome. Good job kids.
