On these cold days, the library has been our friend. Today's craft inspiration comes from the book "Don't Throw That Away!". These flowers gave us a little peek of springtime- and they'll make great Valentine's gifts for the Grandmas.
We started with egg cartons, and cut the pieces apart.
I chose to let the kids use watercolors, thinking it might be a little bit less clean-up. I'm wrong (says the watercolor paint on the kitchen wall).
What colors do you mix to make teal? And purple? What can we use to poke a hole in the flowers?
Pick a jar for your vase and arrange the flowers how you like them, kids.
